Vasiliki Ioannou
Stage Manager
Vasiliki Ioannou is a Greek stage manager and designer. She graduated with Honors from the BMCC Theater Program.
Before graduation she worked on the original play One Act of Kindness by Juan Ramirez and the 10-minute play Let Me Go by Mary Ann Ceron, presented at the CUNY Theater Festival, where she received her first award in stage management.
Since 2019, she is a stage manager and assistant designer for Eclipses Group Theater NY Corp, working on productions such as Gogol’s adaptation of Inspector General, In Chorus, Perspectives of War, Shelter in Love, and Raving Reason.
She also collaborates with GenY Productions to bring Greek plays to American audiences.
Since 2023, she has stage-managed productions for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts including Bakkhai, Hearts Like Planets, Passage, The Wolves, Smash, Animal Farm, and Antigonik.
She is very excited to be joining the Theater Will Not Prepare You For Death family!
