Masha Vasilevskaya

Masha Vasilevskaya is a violinist and a multi disciplinary musician, composer, music director and performer with a rich experience ranging from classical to experimental genres.
Since moving to the US from Belarus in 2016 she composed original scores for:
“Voyeur” Off Broadway, directed by Mara Lieberman, the two contemporary dance productions of “Elevator” and “Sand” modern ballet, choreographed by Olga Rabetskaya. Masha composed and performed in the Off Broadway production of “Bad Roads” by the acclaimed Ukrainian playwright Natalka Vorozhbyt, director by Anya Zicer at the LaMaMa Experimental Theatre Club as well as created the score and performed in “A Star Without A Name” directed by Gera Sandler Theatre at St Clements and La Jolla Symphony San Diego.
Masha has been performing and touring for 25 years with leading theaters, orchestras, and bands from Europe and the US working with musicians and directors such as Ravi Coltrane, Fedor Chistyakov, Matti Kovler, and Uta Bekaia.
Masha collaborates with the Lost & Found Project creating programs for Ukrainian refugees through the verbatim documentary technique, presented at the New York Theatre Workshop.
