Basil Lvoff, 35, grew up in Moscow, Russia, and moved to New York in his early twenties, where he has taught Russian and English culture, language, and translation courses for over a decade, with a U.S. Ph.D. and a Russian equivalent under his belt, both of his dissertations devoted to literary criticism. All the while, Basil combined scholarship with the arts, having his creative writing published in acclaimed literary journals, writing film scripts, and acting. After voice acting in films and reading at poetry recitals, Basil Lvoff is making his theater debut with this role.
